Andrew Gordon is originally from Connecticut but has called California home since 1996. Andrew moved to Los Angeles in 2000 for college. During this time, he started working for a mom-and-pop run pizzeria in Westwood, CA, where his love for the hospitality industry took off. After three years of learning the ins and outs of restaurants, he started his career with the global brand Le Pain Quotidien. With LPQ, Andrew built a wealth of knowledge, both management and industry, while also seeing the LA food scene grow in the late 2000s. While in LA, he managed and opened multiple units around the city and traveled to Europe for the brand, embarking on the 1st annual General Manager exchange program. In early 2019 Andrew and his wife took a chance and left Los Angeles for the Bay Area. That landed him in Concord, CA, as General Manager of Puesto Mexican Restaurant, a Southern California brand. In early 2021 Andrew joined the 1100 group as Regional Operations Manager to oversee our Mexican concepts. Andrew enjoys hiking with his dogs, camping trips, and working on his VW bus.
